This Privacy Policy explains how ugen ("ugen", "we", "us") handles personal data when you use ugen.app.

In short: we collect only what we need to run your account and create your media. We don't sell your data, we don't use your content to train AI models, and we don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

What we collect

  • Account details: your name, email address and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, your basic Google profile.
  • Your content: prompts, settings, uploads and the outputs you generate.
  • Usage data: sessions (IP address and browser), credits, favorites, collections and share links.
  • Billing data: your plan and subscription status. Card details are handled by our payment processor; we never see your full card number.

How we use it

To run your account, generate and store your media, manage billing and credits, send service emails, prevent abuse and comply with the law.

We don't use your content to train AI models or for advertising.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers for hosting, storage, payments, email and AI processing. To create your output, your prompt, settings and input files are sent to the AI model you choose. Providers only receive what they need to do their job.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of the business. We never sell your personal data.

Cookies

We only use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember how you last signed in. Drafts and your theme are stored in your own browser.

Retention and security

We keep your data while you have an account. Deleted assets are removed from storage. When you delete your account, we delete your data, except what we must keep by law, such as payment records.

We use encryption in transit, hashed passwords and access controls. Your data may be processed outside your country, with appropriate safeguards where required.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, delete or export your data, object to processing, and complain to your data protection authority. To make a request or delete your account, email support@ugen.app.

Children

ugen is only for people aged 18 or older.
