Terms of Service

Your account

You must be at least 18 to use ugen. Keep your login secure; you're responsible for activity on your account. One free account per person.

The service

ugen lets you generate and edit images and videos with AI models from third-party providers. Features, models and plans may change over time. Providers apply their own safety filters, so some requests may be refused.

Your content

You own your inputs and, to the extent the law allows, your outputs, including for commercial use. You're responsible for having the rights and consent needed for what you upload, including photos of other people.

You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to run the service, including sending it to AI providers and showing outputs through share links you create.

AI outputs can be inaccurate, may not be unique, and may not be protected by copyright. Check them before you rely on them.

Acceptable use

You must not use ugen to create, upload or share:

• sexual content involving minors, or anyone who appears to be a minor
• intimate or sexual imagery of a real person without their consent
• content that deceives, impersonates, defrauds, harasses or defames others
• violent, hateful, extremist or otherwise illegal content
• content that infringes someone else's rights, including removing watermarks from images you don't own

You also must not bypass safety filters or credit limits, create extra accounts, resell access, scrape or attack the service.

We may refuse requests, remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, and report illegal content to the authorities.

Plans and payments

Generations cost credits, shown before you start. The Free plan includes a one-time credit grant. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel.

Credits reset each billing period and don't roll over. Failed jobs are refunded in credits. Credits have no cash value.

Upgrades are charged right away and restart your billing cycle; downgrades apply at your next renewal. You can cancel anytime and keep your plan until the end of the paid period. Payments are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise.

Reports and takedowns

To report misuse or content that infringes your rights or uses your likeness, email support@ugen.app with a link or description.

Disclaimers and liability

ugen is provided "as is", without warranties. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the last 12 months or 100 US dollars.
